QUICK UPDATES ABOUT THE COVID-19 STATUS IN ICELAND

  • Testing due to symptoms is free of charge for tourists.

  • Pre-registration for arriving passengers to Iceland is necessary using this link.

  • Tourists must present a negative COVID-19 test upon arrival, with no more than 72 hours between testing and departure from their home country. Regulations are available here.

  • A valid NHS (UK citizens) and CDC (US citizens) vaccination card are accepted.

  • EU Digital COVID certificate is accepted.

  • For testing upon returning to your home country, you can order either a PCR test (through the app Rakning C-19) or a rapid antigen test. Book a rapid test here and a PCR test here.
