We explore the breathtaking coastal features like at "Londrangar cliffs" which you can see in the famous tv show Game of Thrones. We will explore the "lava landscape" and we have time to take a short walk through the "lava fields" near Arnarstapi hamlet.
We recommend taking the optional lava tube or "cave tour" at Vatnshellir cave near the glacier to discover the wonders of the península from below. In fact, this cave is well known for "probably" being the main inspiration for the classic science fiction novel "A journey to the Centre of the Earth" by Julius Verne.
On this fantastic tour, we also stop at the "Arrowhead mountain" mountain as named in Game of Thrones series but that we call it "Kirkjufell mountain".

Most of the peninsula is covered with semi-fluid rock and amazing volcano ridges. Since Mars 2021, it also has the youngest Icelandic territory formed with the volcanic eruption at Fagradalsfjall.

A long day tour covers the South Coast sights, ending at the majestic Glacier Lagoon, southeast of Iceland.
Jökulsárlón is a lake filled with the meltwater from an outlet glacier, near the Vatnajöjull National Park with a max depth of 248 meters, covering about 18sq km.
We can enjoy a boat ride in the lagoon, visit the Diamond Beach nearby, explore the Fjadrárgljúfur Canyon, visit the Black Waterfall, and many other activities.
The tour always takes about 14 hours, as we cover a long driving distance.
