SILVER CIRCLE - WEST-HUSAFELL
Also called "The Silver Circle", the West-Husafell is a collection of fascinating locations on a relaxed driving loop from Reykjavik city.
It combines a little bit of everything, from history to geothermal power, waterfalls, glacier, and lava tubes.
After the pick-up, we will drive along the Hvalfjörður bay, also known as "the whale fjord". Here you will see the old whaling station and more beautiful scenery with the rustic Icelandic nature.
Our next stop is Hraunfossar, a beautiful waterfall coming straight from a lava field, and another waterfall just on the side called Barnafoss.
Nearby is the most powerful hot spring in Europe called "Deildartunguhver", the main heating source for the towns around the area.
A few steps from the hot spring is the Geothermal Baths Krauma, with various hot tubs, pools, and saunas to fully relax. Here you can soak for some time before returning to the city.
See below the optional activities available for this tour.
